I make images that capture the urban solitude and explore the emptiness that exist within and between people living in The City. When I grew up in a small town, I compared The City with an ant-colony and imagined that is how cities function. Once I moved to The City, I realised reality is different: people are connected with The City but they are not necessarily connected with each other. The loneliness that I find around me, enables me to unobtrusively observe people and capture that presence
