Maksym Romenskyi

Maksym Romenskyi was born in 1971 in Ukraine. Started to take up photography seriously in 2005. Studied under Georgiy Pinkhasov (MAGNUM photo agency), Roman Pyatkivka, at school of conceptual photography MYPH. He explores issues of loneliness, separations, fear and uncertainty, shooting street photography, conceptual landscape and portraits, as well as collage techniques. Took part in exhibitions in Ukraine, Canada and USA. He was shortlisted for selection in the LensCulture Magnum Photography
