Haris Malekos

Haris Malekos is a half Greek/half Cypriot visual artist working and studying in the Netherlands. He was born in 2002 and grew up on the island of Paros. At age 13 he moved with his family to Brussels where he finished high school. At age 18 he started his studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, in the department of photography. In the spring semester of 2023 he went to study abroad at Tokyo Zokei University. In his work he uses a cinematic verité approach to explore themes like
