Andrew Tan

Andrew Tan is an award-winning, self-taught urban photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. His practice explores the hidden geometry and emotional texture of city life, using slow shutter speeds and deliberate motion to dissolve the ordinary into something felt rather than seen. He is the 2025 Photographer of the Year (Black & White) awarded by Australian Photography Magazine, and his work has been exhibited internationally across three continents and held in private collections.
